Thanks for the advice! Pardon my ignorance, but what is tts? Is that a brand?

yes TTS is a brand of tuner. it overwrites your factory software and is very trouble free.

And do it sooner rather than later, before the temps get too much hotter! Any tuner worth a damn would/should know what AFR to be running at!

Is there a baseline for AFR? Do you have to use the O2 sensors with the tts?

Keep in mind that the dyno chart shows whats happening at WOT. It gives you exactly zero information about whats happening at say, 30% throttle.

Since we presumably dont spend much time at WOT, you'd have to look at the map settings to understand whats going on during normal riding conditions.

Isn't the dyno to "simulate" what is going on at, let's say, 30, 40, 50% throttle? And if it isn't, what am I missing?

Nope, its WOT. In only 1 gear. 4th, 5th or 6th. Usually 5th if I'm not mistaken, but the charts dont tell you that either.

If you think about it, it would have to be 3 dimensional to show what you're asking.

The dyno sheets that are posted here are Wide Open Throttle,,,,,but if the person doing the tuning is worth their salt,,,,,,they will be tuning the bike across the full range of throttle and engine load conditions,,,,,,Unfortunately that isn't always the case, and a lot of "tunes" are just done for Wide Open Throttle.

From the dyno sheets posted, there is no way to determine what is going on with AFR values across anything other than WOT.

Looking at the MAP settings MAY tell you what is going on in the bike at partial throttle settings,,,,,,,depending on how competent and thorough the tuner was.

This is true.the thing to remember though is that the wide open throttle part of the tune is the easiest to dial in. So it's a pretty good bet that if the guy tun ok ng the bike can't tune the easiest part chances are the rest of the tune sucks as well.
