I, for one, can't understand your map. But, if your happy, that's all that matters. There's always going to be something faster out there. If you wouldn't mind, translate your map into peak torque and HP for me (us)

I agree, the scaling is all wrong. The vertical NM scale for torque is out of kilter, that should be much further up the paper and closer to the power curve.

Default Its just a different kind of diagram...

Hello, the dotted line is torque. The Nm means newton metres torque. PS means HP. Umin means rpm.

so, my bike has 156 Nm torque and 92 HP wheel performance 6th gear. Thats at least what the dyno said while I was there and what you see is the pdf of the printout I got.

we used the power vision to optimize the fuel / air ratio and eliminated the harley tunes. Ignition, timing etc is changed to 100 octane fuel we have in germany.

Most important for me was to get max torque/hp performace before 4000rpm.

all the best

He's got 92hp and 115tq. I converted NM to TQ. Pretty good actually.

Default 100 Octane

You have 100 Octane fuel in Germany? Is that for everyone? We have it here but it's $9 a gallon....sometimes I'll throw 1 gallon into a 6 gallon tank, but I'm not paying $54 to fill up a 6 gallon tank and we don't have to...these bikes run great on the 93 octane around here...

Don't get too upset, the USA uses a different Octane rating system to Europe, although I'm not certain how they compare.

Default 100 Octane fuel!

Yes, to companies supplying superfuel.
1. Shell V Power 100
2. Aral 102 octane
Between 5 and 15 € e cent more expensive to super 98 octane. Std super has 95 octane in Europe.

Does it help? I dont know. All I know the engine runs smooth and better compared with 95 octane fuel containing 10% green alcohol. 95 burns hotter what we dont want.

I eliminated the oxigene sensors and keep a stable 13,4 air fuel ratio instead of 14.6 +/- Harley tuned the engine to allow low exhaust temp but higher co rates.

all the best

Wink

Courtesy of Wikipedia:

"Because of the 8 to 12 octane number difference between RON and MON noted above, the AKI shown in Canada and the United States is 4 to 6 octane numbers lower than elsewhere in the world for the same fuel."

So German 100 octane is roughly equivilent to US 94 octane - not enough difference from 93 to get excited about!

We have 93 octane here on the East Coast...out West it's hard to find anything over 91 Octane and of course most everything has at least 10% ethanol...
