Wood 777's and milled heads would be a good eco-start and net some solid results with a competent tuner...

Thats my thoughts.

The heads are a breeze to remove and install. Cheap to cut them. Good bang for the buck

Here are my numbers, I think they kinda suck.
My build is an 88' SE 95 kit.
Polished, ported heads, 10.5-1
Large valves, springs.
Adjustable SE pushrods.SE 257 cams, SE oil pump.
V&H true duals, V&H slash cuts.
K&N A/C
PC V

Now the numbers: 84.9HP. 92TQ
4thgear pull.

I'm thinking of going with S&S Power Tune Header, and the TMan 555TQ cams. I am still looking at some of the Wood cams, have not made up my mind yet. Making those two changes should get me to 100.

The V&H true dual is not helping your build out at all. IMO it's the biggest POS out there.

I am guessing that feels really good seat of the pants and better then the numbers would indicate. having your tq nd hp peak numbers so close makes for a sweet ride.
