Default Rain hitting my chin - 08 EG

Is there a good way to prevent the rain waterthat comes under the fairing and around the forks from being blown up and hitting me under the chin?

The bike is an '08 Electra Glide Classic with the standard windshield, batwing fairing and no lowers.

I see that Harley sells fork mounted wind deflectors, PN 58121-85B. It seems that most people add these to reduce the amount of air flow comingupward from under the fairing. People also talk about removing them for the summer months. Are the wind deflectors my solution?

Thanks,

OD

I have the fork mounted air deflectors and the deflector that HD sells that mounts between the fork tubes, can't remember the part number. They help, but the rain still gets in your face.

The fork mounted air deflector will solve your problems. I've had one on for 6 yrs. and it's been on year 'round. I've ridden onplenty of100+ degree dayshere in FL with the deflector on without a single heat related problem. BTW, no oil cooler either.
