Just got the digital oil dipstick (part# 63046-07) for an 07 street glide. \\; I also have installed the engine/transmission interface and top cover kit (part# 66532-07). \\; The latter interferes with the new dipstick, not allowing it to turn to full closure. \\; The \\;HD catalog says nothing about the dipstick not \\;being usable is the interface &\\; top cover kit is installed. \\; Has anyone experienced this and \\;found a solution? \\; I suspect they won't allow me to return it since it has already been dipped in oil. \\; Appreciate any thoughts. \\;
If you bought all the parts from the same dealer,I'd go to their service department
and ask them what the problem is. They can probaly tell you right off, whats wrong.
If the parts won't work together,go to parts department and bitch.
You're probably one of the fortunates' who got one that works properly. Most of what I've read on this forum \\;about \\;the H-D digital oil \\;dipsticks \\;were negative reviews.
 \\;
BTW what the hell is \\;going on \\;with all these (// " :\\ symbols in the \\;posts and responses...it's getting kinda "old" now. \\; \\;
better carry the original stock one with you. Ive heard of them being stolen on runs, and hopefully you will see it before driving until you loose all your oil.
