Yeah after 16 years in Law enforcement have to work both weekend days&nbsp\\;again so I&nbsp\\;am picking and choosing my vac days by the weather so&nbsp\\;I can attend some rallys and rides and basically have a life&nbsp\\;like the mainstream (if thats possible). See how many people can ride or&nbsp\\;attend a&nbsp\\;barbeque on Tuesday afternoon at around&nbsp\\;1300 hours.&nbsp\\;Forecast when&nbsp\\;I put in for&nbsp\\;the day off was&nbsp\\; Poss thunderstorms for later&nbsp\\;today. Woke up to pouring rain.&nbsp\\; Had Sun Mon off for almost 8 years. Only my second week and I hate it already.[:@]&nbsp\\;just venting.

If it's any consolation, over 50,000 people in the world who were alive yesterday didn't live to today. Enjoy the rain.

 

Lived in Alaska 6 yrs,&nbsp\\; usually rained most of the summer, and was real nasty most of the winter.&nbsp\\; I just did it anyway and it became a way of life, had a lot of fun.&nbsp\\; Live in southern NM now and it is really hot here.&nbsp\\; Usually don't ride that much in the middle of the day, 100+ and a lot of sun.&nbsp\\; Don't get that much rain, hasn't rained since Nov 07.&nbsp\\; I think that life will be what you make of it, just go for it and enjoy the time of your life.&nbsp\\; I remember the old Army thing that was, it don't rain in the Army it rains on the Army.&nbsp\\; Rain sure didn't stop any wars.&nbsp\\; Enjoy the ride before it gets away.

+1 for weekdays off.&nbsp\\; Hotels and Inns are cheaper too on week days.&nbsp\\; 22 years into job and still take week days off.

Don't get us wrong, we get the days off, they just don't always land at the end of the week!
