What&nbsp\\;is the difference between the Road King and the Road King Custom in regards to&nbsp\\;seat choices?

I have an Electra Glide Classic, but I changed to the Street Glide tank console and seat.&nbsp\\; As I understand it, Street Glides and Road Kings share the same seat dimensions.&nbsp\\; What is different on the RK Custom?
What are you Street Glide folks doing when it comes time to shop for a seat?

Can't speek for 08 models but the earlier models are interchangeable.&nbsp\\; The difference is in looks.&nbsp\\; Each has it own distinctive design.

 

the customs seat has a shorter nose do to the different dash the rk is longer to cover the tank where dash is shorter

 

The now discontinued RK Custom seat is not interchangable. I believe the difference&nbsp\\;has to do with the nose and the front seat mount.

My buddy's RK Custom had a one-piece seat. Doesn't the 'standard' come 2-piece with the 'studding'?

My 07 RK Custom seat is one piece and no studs. Not a bad seat for the rider but the passenger seat is somewhat lacking for a sweet azz woman. I think I will go Corbin.
