Lower vents
Has anyone ever known someone that used aftermarket vents for ultra classic lowers. The kit requires cutting of my lowers and this concerns me. And if its ok, what do i cut them with. Im just looking for a way to cool the right side of my bike. thanks steve

You might just remove the baffles during the warmest time of the year.
I did this , this year and it worked out really well.
You have to remove the lowers and separate the top cap to remove them , but it's pretty easy.I'll put them back in next month , but it really cools better without the baffles.

I just purchased an 08 Road King up in Rapid City during the Rally and talked to a guy about the heat coming off the engine (I had a liquid cooled bike I traded in). He recommended the saddle shields from Kyrakin (spelling not right there). And MAN what a difference!!! I highly recommend them for all Harley Owners....
