A couple of times I've needed to pull the pillion and helmet out of the saddlebag to give a woman a ride and it's just easier to leave the passenger boards on. I think they look fine folded up. When I get to the point that no one wants a ride from me perhaps I'll remove them but as I learned in Boy Scouts, "Be Prepared."

I have the streamliners all the way around and I love the way they make my bike look. I'm leaving them on even if I don't have a passenger

Have you checked out Bubbas solo seats? www.bubbasbrake.com
I have sat on the seat but not put any miles on it. It felt very comfortable.

Mustang tripper solo seat, low profile seat with room to move. I had the Mustang plain solo seat but didn't like the "seat pocket". No room to move and seemed to push me up and forward (the backrest was awesome). The tripper solo is not as plush in regards to the cushion but after about 600 miles the things broke in real good. Plus the ability to move your butt around allows you to stay comfortable on longer rides. Did a couple 250 mile days with no achin' ****.
