It's at the Shop

Made the move, it went it to the shop for Stage 1 (K&N), Super Trapps slip ons, P Commander, new injectors, Dyno. Hoping for good results.
Also having noisy front brake checked, tried of squeal. Talk with dealer about replacing injectors prior to dyno. I have had small problems, but want them changed prior to dyno. Waiting to see who's going to pay. Either way want upgrade to 25's prioe to dyno, Ultra is a 8/05 birthday. has the 06 8' injectors.

Just picked up bike. What an improvement. runs great, big improvement in mid range. hp 78 tor 78. New 25' injectors installed by dealer.

How could you tell if it had the 06 8 degree injectors?

part # -06. There was a write up, can't remember in which section I found it. I'm sure someone will update location. It was a HD update to dealers, that came out in Feb 06. I'll look around.

RE: It's at the Shop

I just dropped mine off tonight to have the dealer take care of the injectors, at HD's dime and not mine. I aksed them to do something about the nasty front brake noise too. They told me it should be ready to be picked up tomorrow. Not sure what the weather will be tomorrow as of yet, but it was a 30 degree ride to take it in. If it is at least 30 or better tomorrow, and no rain then I will bring it home.

November build date on mine, never had a problem with the injectors, one of the lucky ones I guess. Really no brake noise to speak of either. When I get a little noise, I'll lay on the front brake and they seem to clean themselves for a 100 miles or so. Been so dry here (NC) my noise is prolly just dust. My 05 Softail was terrible with the front squealing.
