MP3 CD's
 

Made 5 Mp3 Cds to listen to on my 07 HK. Each has over 90 songs. My HK radio will only play like the first 60 songs. Thought it was my CD's but they will all play in my Truck (Alpine). Anyone run into this?

No probs on mine - think each has around 180 songs

yeah, sometimes. It just passes them over and goes down the playlist. If I burn the playlist on something other than Itunes it will work most of the time, I dont know why.

Hmmm....not sure what to tell you. I have many MP3 CD's, each with 150 songs or more. What software did you use to burn the MP3 CD's?

you can get upward of 200 songs on an MP3 CD, but it depends on how you rip them. I dont rip them at the highest quaility, it doesnt make any difference on my bike. Thats the problem. Songs shouldnt be any bigger than 2 or 3 megs or so, sometimes 4 on a 700 megabyte CD or bigger... You can fit a ton in there.

One of my favorite things on my 08 UC is the MP3 CD player. Loving it. My GPS holds a memory card and I have a couple 2-gig cards I bring with me. I plug the audio of the gps into the aux jack on the stereo and I have a TON of music to chose from.

However, I can tell a huge difference from the MP3 song vs the orignal CD. The CD is clearer and has more volume.

I'm using Itunes, have Hogtunes speakers/amp plus the HD radio.

WHat software are folks using to make their MP3 CDs???

I have several MP3 cds all with over 120 songs. No problems playing through them. I usually use the random setting since I burn my CDs in song order.

i buy alot of songs through Itunes, and sometimes through Zune (since my harley destroyed my ipod, it wasnt tought enough to hang i think). then I convert them into MP3.

How do you get your music, what do you burn them with?

Most of my music is .MP3 ripped from my CD collection. For the few randoms that are from iTunes, I burn them to a music CD and then rip them back to .MP3 format.

I would use my iPOD exclusively is the HK radio had a true iPOD connection and not just the AUX, why? I like controlling my music with the handle bar controls, and I like to see the music name and artist on the radio.

Plus, AUX audio line and power are just too many wires in my opinion.
