Change from chain to gear drive???-Help

I have a set of Andrews 26A cams in my RKC and would like to switch to gear drive. Can I buy just the gears and put them in without replacing the cams as well?

Don't believe so. Think about the rotation of the cams with chain drive vs. gear drive.

gear drive cams are counter rotating. chain are same direction. cams are ground for particular application.

no you can not.....you'll need a 26g(g for gear)

I have been wondering what to do also,it is time this winter to change tensioners,I'm thinking of going back stock, because of if on the road I have a problem ,I can go to the dealer,I too have seen many more rip off indys than dealers,around local I know who the good guys are but not out there.
