Default SE Stage IV kit

My dealer has a kit on their webpage, supposidly just in, no specs yet, itīs for TC96
Their kit includes 58mm throttle, cams, heads, pistons, supertuner(option), cylinders and more.

Can someone help with some info on this kit.

I picked up the Screaming Eagle booklet from the dealer recently and found all kinds of cool upgrade kits. Looking at their power charts, the 103 stage IV may offer the best bang for the buck? Don't have to bore the cases and still get well over 100/100.
Includes all that you said. They also have a 110 and 113? Stage upgrades.
Gets you thinking - shouldn't have picked it up!

the stage 4 has some good pieces, and some not so good...the heads and cams don't work well on baggers...here are my 2 favorite builds using off the shelf screamin' eagle parts:

bore your stock cylinders...cast 103 flattop pistons...211 cams...stock heads....030" head gaskets

or mcr heads...030" head gaskets...211 cams...stock pistons

another option is having your stock heads ported by a pro...works a lot better than buying screamin' eagle heads...and is cheaper, too if you use the right shop...a 103 with ported stock heads, thin head gasket, bored stock cylinders, 9.4 compression, 204 cams...that's what I'd do if I had a bagger

and another option is cheap blueprint-style headwork, thin head gasket, stock pistons, and 204 cams

Thanks for the help, might have to do some more research on this before upgrading. I have been thinking of having the OEM cylinder bored, and have someone port the heads but I am thinking about resale value when i trade her in, or sell her. Might be better to have the OEM stuff untouched?? Any thoughts/experience on that? I am also interested if anyone knows how theese moderate upgrades affect the life on motor and tranny, I ride aprox 4000 miles per year.

Hey guys, do you need to have your cases bored on a stock 103" 2012 street glide to fit the 113" stage IV kit?
Cheers

Yes, the largest motor with your crank without boring cases is 107 cu.

The 2 stage IV 103s weve done saw drastically different results due to exhaust, first one with a good 2-1 made 107/108 right out of the box with no tuning, the second with crappy fishtails made 99/108 after tuning.

The 113 DOES require case boring.

the stage iv 103 kit is a race kit designed for performance at high rpms. it wakes up very late in the rpm range. It would be dormant most of the time on a on-road bike. if you get one, either make sure you get the kit with the upgraded crank or you send your crank out for re-work.
