Default Leakdown results

Leakdown results 15% front and back thru rings. Weird both equal but that's what dealer said. Bike running good but changing cams and exhaust tomorrow. Changing from woods tw7h to Andrews 54 also adding d&d Fatcat. Presently I have bubs truedule. Compression 200psi back 210psi front. My question if you decide to except it, is do I redo rings or let it be.

5 to 7 % would be my limit, 15% is a lot.

Thinking the same thing. Did 103 last yr with slight head work guess rings didn't set right. Not happy. I had another post earlier about my primary oil not a good day for my bike. 107 might be in the cards.

Personaly I wouldnt trust thier results, test it your self or try another shop. To confirm results, a bad or leaky compression guage can skew results. This has happend to me, I have two guages to confirm results. If both guages read the same then I concider what is wrong with the engine. Compression guages with bad orings or shrader valves can give you inconclusive results. I just lent a friend my compression guage, he was very happy to find out his was bad and not the engine. Just make shure there is a problem before you tear it down.

Both cylinders being the same is good. Strange that it is 15%, I'd suspect that there may be a problem with the test equipment or how it was done.
It might be worth having it checked again.

Definitely a second opinion, also if you change the oil and she goes black right away then it may be true as the carbon work its way right into the lower end.
