Is it my imagination or are this years colors pretty plain? The only one im liking is the matte grey and black on the limited. There dont seem to be any pearls or metallics or have i missed something? The sumatra brown looks like baby poop to me.

 

I really like the Twisted Cherry. I was going to buy an 18 Twisted Cherry Road Glide Ultra until I found a 2016 Cosmic Blue RGU for $17,495. Couldn't see spending over $10K more for the 18.

 

The two reds dont really do anything for me. I really liked the 2014 daytona blue, and big blue pearl, and that black quarts with the metallic, and even that black gold candy that was only on the x models. Im just not getting that "holy ****" feeling from anything ive seen in person except for a couple of the colors that are only on the street glide and im not doing either of the x models

 

 

Bridge primer?

 

I miss some of the older color schemes like the '09 turquoise/cream, the 2011's psychedelic purple/black and candy apple green/black, '06 dragonfly green/black, '14 sand pearl/canyon brown pearl, and '07 cobalt blue/pewter silver. Just to name a few. There are many other combos I like but the last few years nothing really grabs me. However, the 2018 chameleon green metal flake on the SG and RG is kinda sweet.

 

Funny, me and my friend were just talking about this last night. Only color I like is the twisted cherry, but I like red bikes. The other colors just seem basic this year, I thought MoCo had been doing a pretty good job over the last years coming out with some good looking colors and schemes.

 

I bought a 2017 FLTRU because the 2018 colors did nothing for me. I bought the two tone red which is beautiful in the sunlight.

I loved my 16 FLTRU but wanted the 17 motor and suspension. I voted with my cheque book and got a pretty good deal on a non current 17 in November.
