Default J&S vs Pitbull

I'm not going to ask if one's better than the other, both are great according to this forum. It's difficult though telling which I'd prefer by looking at pics and fair descriptives on the sites. I'm asking if one has advantages in a given area over the other, and visa-versa.

I'll have to call Pitbull to ask them the differences between the manual and air, the dyna and standard. I'm looking forward to that but will still wonder according to the practical way we looks at things, what might be the advantages of one over the other...?

I've searched on lifts and appologize for yet another thread, but I don't see much regarding a comparison. BTW, I "fixed" the Sears yellow jack that almost crashed my bike but I can't bring myself to trust it .

Tkx!!

The J&S is smaller and takes up less room.

I have a J&S. I also looked at the Pitt Bull and decided on the J&S and am very happy with it I can maneuver the bike around the garage on the lift and it is very stable. GREAT customer service. I am sure those with the Pitt Bull are also very happy.

Pitbull, lifts 25" off the ground. I can sit in a chair and polish my rims.

Manual would be a foot pump I would assume like most jacks, and air would be you connect your compressor's air hose to it, open the valve, and watch your bike lift into the air....not manual.

I agree this is a big advantage, but I think when you get to the prices between these two jacks, I might jsut consider a table lift for just a few more bucks.
