Have Farmers for house and cars, was for cycle too. Now new policy is Formost, farmers stayed in effect untill new purchase. So far no problems but no claims either.

I have Foremost, Not the cheapest but how wants that when its time for a claim. They have a 2 year replacement for a new bike if yours is toatle lost. Lose a 2009 = New 2011 bike. I had a 2006 RKC with 18,000 miles and was 20 months old lost to flood.I now have 2008. They also include 3,500.00 in add ons to your bike @ no extra charge.

I've been with Foremost for 8 years. Always been the best rate at renewal time.

I checked Progressive and Geico. Geico was 1/3 of Progressive. I thought it was a mistake because I did it online, but I called them both and they were correct.

Hard to compare rates. Depends what area you live in and what your credit rating is, so even though you live in the same area, your credit rating may give you a better/worse rate.

I have had Foremost for a little over four years now. They were one of the few who would write a policy for my customs and my Busa.

I too had Progressive for a number of years and then the rates went up so I call HD Insurance and they checked several companies that they represent and came back with Foremost. I'm happy....lower rates, more coverage on accessories and even got road side assistance for less than I was paying !!! I think if you insure with them on a brand new bike you get some kind of special coverage like total replacement or something like that.

I've dealt with Foremost Corporate folks, and Foremost is one of, if not the largest insurer of motorcycles. My policy was with them, before I met them. Even if they're not the bottom dollar, I will stay with them once I was able to dig into their coverage network. (They were the least expensive, btw) You have to watch GIECO! They're sneaky about how they do business and quote policies. Just be aware....

check out pacific specialty insurance in CA. they don't do car loans and such outside of CA but they do motorcycles.... they are by far the cheapest I've found and their customer service is awesome. when i totalled my bike in november. within 2 weeks, the finance co was paid off and a week later I had a check in hand for the difference...
