Road Glide Custom Paint

Thinking about tearing the road glide down this winter and doing a custom paint job. If you have some pics you would like to share, I'm looking for some ideas to start from. Thanks.

What ever you finally decide for a custom paint job, have the inner fairing painted. It really makes the bike:D

I think the Roadglide is one of the hardest bikes to do a custom paint job on. There are lots of nice Roadglides out there though so just continue to search and you will find something you like.

Say you're going to "tear it down?"
That's rather broad.
Tell you this...have the frame/swingarm painted, too.

You can see some slick RG's on Klock's site, in the gallery.

Thanks for the suggestion on the inner fairing; I was thinking I might not, but I guess I should go ahead since it will be apart.

And I am just taking the tin (and plastic!) off, and will be leaving the frame black. The bike is vivid black right now.

Kizzzott (or something like that), here on the forum has a shop in NC. Find his name and Google his shop...they did a killer paint job on a Road Glide and its posted on the site. Pearl white with pewter flames - !!!!

Yes do the inner fairing! I did mine even though my wife was against it....now she agrees it was well worth the time and money. They look awesome when color matched.
