Default Vinnie Tracy H.D. Headsets

I've been looking at various different headsets and came across a set on ebay that looked interesting. The headset fits behind your head and can be used for 1/2 helmets. He claims the headset is much better then Harley brand but I can't say I've ever heard anyone talk about this product. Does anyone have any input on this product?

I can't comment on those headsets, but my wife bought me the Cardo Multi-Rider headsets for Christmas and I would not use anything else. These work great on both half and full face helmets. If your looking for some new headsets these are the best I have ever used.

I have 2 sets of the HD in the classifieds, they work great I think. We used them twice, we just don't care to much for headsets.

I just purchased two of his headsets off ebay. My passenger could hear me, but I could not hear her. I tried several vox settings without any cure..going to send them back this week. I drive a 2015 ultra limited..

I have one of the Freeride Motorsports heads sets. Basically the same thing as the Vinnie one. They are Microsoft/or similar headsets with a plug added to fit the bike. It's worth the $35 I paid for it.

I also bought 2 headsets from Ebay and sent them back, then bought 2 from IMC that work great, they were $75 each, I also have a 2015 Ultra Classic.

Not to burst anyone's bubble - but similar sets have been out for a long time.

My wife & I bought the IMC versions of these over 10 years ago, for use on our metric bikes.

They worked well - but after an hour, or at best a few hours, they were torture due to pain behind the ears. Between the headband of the unit & the earpieces of eyewear, the area behind our ears would be red with soreness.

I hope they work for you. For us, they did not.

That's a very true statement. That's why I use a 3/4 helmet with the Harley in helmet one on long trips.
