Sirius/IPOD mount
I am looking to mount my Sat Radio or IPOD on my Ultra. Looking for ideas? I see a few companies make handlebar attach brackets. The prices have me looking into making my own or getting ideas on how to do this. I plan on going into my aux input on the HD radio.
Also, my HD cd player seems to lock up once I am playing tracks above 5 or 6 most days, especially when running on bumpy roads. Is this common? |
Check out Rammounts....pretty much anyone running a mount, unless a custom mount is from these guys.

I just saw one on Ebay that was really nice and it was chrome! It was the nicest one I have ever seen! It was for an Ipod or xm or sirius!

3 Attachment(s)
Lot's of nice ones out there! Velcro for an i-pod is the cheapest and easiest, or billet ones like these just depends on what you like :) My personal fav is the first one! :D Makes playing with the I-pod so much more fun! LOL!!!!

Used to have my nano velcroed to the handlebar next to the starter switch.
Got tired of taking it off when I got off the bike so I just loaded it up with all my tunes then velcroed to the top of the radio under the fairing. |
what if you need to reset the ipod nano... take off fairing to reset it? yikes

If it needs to be reset I'll just play the radio 'til I get home. Good point though  |
