Am I confused or are you? You say that you am (have?) yet to see this pipe in person. Then you say it's in stock. Do you mean V&H has them in stock for you to order, if someone orders one from you? Really, I'm not trying to give you a bad time, just curious.

 

I do not open the boxes the exhaust are in just to look at them. Drew

 

I am being told the V&H's are all made in China now and the chrome sucks.

According them their pipes are all made in Santa Fe Springs, CA.

 

I'd suggest you listen to the pipe before you shell out that much money on one. My father in-law has the Pro Pipe Bp on his '08 SE Ultra and I do not like the sound of it at all.

I have a V&H ProPipe HO on my ProCharged 107 '09 FLTR.I will honestly say it puts out some very serious heat,and I have it wrapped.I called V&H about heat shields and they told me they would be out by early spring.I will be taking the pipe off in the next 3 weeks{ only been on for about 200 miles}.If anybody is interested in it I will be selling it for $475 shipping included.The pipe is like brand new. Frank from DragosBikeWorks is coming out with his own signature series exhaust.Being he built the motor in my bike I feel obligated to promote his exhaust.It will be comparable to the D&D Boarzilla.

 

funny you should mention the heat. I installed one on a FLHX a few weeks ago and the kid called today looking for wrap.He was riding it last weekend and caught his pants on fire.
If anyone is looking for one of these and has not seen one,they look very racey/ unfinished (at least the black one does) Doesn't come w/ heatshields either.
