was wondering how many of you have visors on your lights, what are the pros and cons with them,I have them ordered and am going to install them in about a week[sm=biker2.gif]
Yep, got 'em on my Sporty, headlamp and spots both. No change in the lighting pattern that I've noticed. Maybe airline pilots noticed when I changed them out...
Pros: It's all about the looks. I dig 'em, one of those things I saw in the HD catalog when I was a child and wanted!
Cons: They can be a bit of a pain when you're putting the lamp back on, they don't always want to stay. Nothing else, really.
I just put a set on my '04 Road King Classic. I didn't notice any change in the lighting. I only put them on the headlight and the spots. I went wiith the Gold Eagle for the headlight and plain for the spots. The head light visor was easy to put on, but the spots were a bit of a pain. But, I like the way they look. I thought that putting the gold eagle on all of them would look kind of tacky. But that's just me. Anyway, they look great.
We have the plain ones, only on the headlight and passing lamps. There are no pros or cons. you either like the look or you don't. They do nothing functional that I know of.
