I finally got the call from my salesman that the bike I've been waiting to see had arrived! It's better in "person", but I did try and get some photos to show you guys. Like the other custom colors, it really "shines" in the sun. Every angle is different. Deep blue from one angle...deep purple from another.

The best part...I got to take it for a test ride! Having never ridden a Street Glide...I was VERY impressed. It could have been my imagination, but it seemed lighter and better balanced than my Road King.

I was checking it out for my riding buddy...she wants to "trade" bikes. I LOVE my RKC, but if anything could get me out of that bike, it'd be this one.

I'll have to post a couple of threads to get all the pics in...

Pics don't adequately show the color well as it was fairly overcast when photos were taken. Even so, once outside, the colors really popped. In the shadows...the bike definitely looked a lot darker than in the light.

 

Once again, AWESOME dude!!!

Congrats! Now I’m jealous!! I have got to see that color in person, I bet it looks awesome. I can’t believe your thinking of getting rid of the KING!! It is a nice bike, and good luck if you get it!

Yeah, when I was fixing to buy I was drawn to the Street Glide but I'd wanted a RK Classic since they first came out about 10 years ago. When the 09s came on the showroom I was looking and one of the salesmen asked if I was planning to trade. The salesman I'd ordered the King from walks by and says, "Are you kidding? They're gonna bury him on that bike."

 

Damn.... trade hu. I was going to ask what you were going to do with your bike! LOL I understand the whole girl + purple = love thing, but your RKC is one sweet ride...

 

Yea my Wife was looking at that color bike at the Lake of the Ozarks HD a couple weekends ago. We was driving through and stopped in to look around.
