Like Bill, I just got a tire from American Motor Tire. $105.?? to my door. $25 at my local indy to change it out (I took it off) and good to go. Besides I got to clean all that crap hiding in front of my tire.[8D] Don't know about the Dlop guys but I checked with Metzler at Thunder Beach for their "buy one get one free deal". $316 for both, mounted and balanced. Not sure what happened to the "free" one. I can order both these tires for about $240 to my door.
thats because tires are a loss leader for a lot of shops. by one get one free is a great deal who shops the HD shops and not mail order. The smart people still can find them cheaper.
