Default 2007 Ultra Classic Security System

On the 2007, does anyone know if they come standard with the security system or is that a option for that year and model on the Ultra Classic.

I'm not really sure but I think the only bike with security as standard are the SE models.

My 07 came with the security system but no siren. How much good was that? Fixed that with a $5. radio shack siren.

So do you have to have some type of key fob or remote to cut it on and off?

It was an option on my old 07 FLHTC. Standard on the ultra.

My 07 Electraglide Standard comes with the factory installed security system without the audible siren. It comes with a FOB that needs to be within a certain proximity to the bike in order for the bike to start. When I park the bike, I dont lock the forks, I just take the fob with me.

I had an 03 FLHR that I added Harley's audible siren to. It was nice/neat to have, but I am comfortable that no one is stealing my old man bike.

If I had some of your bikes and the rims/paint schemes and such, I would consider adding it again.

If you have an 07, isnt there a red "Key" looking light when you first turn the ignition on?

It was an option on my 07 Ultra. It was already installed and cost an extra $275 or $375. I initially did not think I wanted it, but like having it now. If I get 5 or 10 feet away from the bike with the key fob, it will not start. That is handy for running inside places and not having to mess with locking the ignition.
A helpful hint, carry spare batteries for the key fob in your trunk.

My '07 Ultra feels left out...no security system.
