I would bet that they are adding another 1.5% on top of what you could get at the credit union if you went to them direct. Definately don't go through the dealer unless you want to pay extra for the convenience.

Deuces- Bet you're right. I hate that there seems to be no way to know. I mean, I've worked hard to keep a good credit rating, and I'm putting down a big downpayment. In the end, they offer a rate, and I can accept or go through the hassle of shopping rates. I'm shopping rates, even if it just means a small savings, it's the principle to me.
