Found this Seiko clock on e-bay and it looks great. Was wondering if anyone has ever installed one and how difficult it is. I'm not much of a mechanic when you have to make the work look pretty.
Yep, Blondies is a good clock. Two screws under the plastic cover. I have the white on on my RK and love it. It took awhile to wear in the o-ring underneath it but now it is great.
I have the Marlins fork clock white face (basically the same as the blondies)... and i get compliments from guys who have never seen it before....looks like it comes w/ the bike from the factory - perfect fit
Clock came today. It's a quality piece and I'd recommend it.
I was "one of the unlucky ones" and the clock didn't fit into the nacel without the spacer. Rather than peel the sticker off of the original fork lock cover and drill holes in it like the instructions said, I went to the hardware store and got a stainless washer that was the same size as the original plastic fork lock cover. I drilled the holes in that and it mounted up "slicker 'en pig snot". Ground down the side of the key, like they said and it's done.
That looks pretty sharp... It would be a lot easier to read in bright light than the one in the radio (I can't even read what channel I'm on without my glasses - maybe I ought to get an RK).
