Default Batwing fairing brackets

These are brackets for the batwing fairing; your Road glide will be different with the fixed fairing.

how do you know you have a broken bracket? is pulling the outer fairing to inspect it the only way to tell are their other indications that would lead you to think you have a bracket failure before pulling the fairing?

Excessive vibration in the fairing is one indication.

My 09 SG has broken mounts. Getting them replaced this week. Dealer told me they've had a run of broken brackets on SG's and Ultras.

Fairing started making a terrible sound. You'll know if you have broken brackets.

I turned 1000 miles on my 09 SG and you guys have me sooo freaked out I went and bought the new style RT and LFT speaker brackets and installed them today. Im going tomorrow to buy some L brackets to add some support to the top of the vertical brackets to prevent those from breaking too!

I wonder if the new style brackets are coming with the 2010 models? I still had the old style in my 09.

Had my right side replaced just today. Hope they put the improved ones in. 32,800 miles. We have some pretty rough roads here abouts. Might have caused them to break.
