I use a HD Black oil filter with a chrome housing heat diffuser over it and a Klear force magnet on the end of the oil filter to catch any lose metal particles, along with Mobil 1 V Twin 20/50 oil. I think I'm about as covered as I can be.

I do believe he is serious. I just quit using oil, nothing to get dirty, don't need to worry about it braking down and it cuts out that 5000 mile oil change expense.

I was thinking of switching to water since water-cooled motors are supposed to run cooler in summer.

I modified my bike to run 2 XT-1F's in parallel so I get double the effect. I can now hit Mach 2 in 3rd gear and the bike never runs above 80*F.

I bought a case of those filters years ago and still have 11 of them left. They last and last!:)
