It's well signed. When I went in 07 we just followed the signs.

Go to www.blackhillshd.com. They have some rally ride maps on their website. I didn't see Iron Mountain Rd but it does have Custers state park. If you are at Custers state park your not far from Iron Mountain Rd and another good ride is The Needles Hwy. At the Harley shop in Sturgis and Rapid City you should be able to get a really good riders map they have for the rally that has every ride on it.

Last year we stayed at the Holidy Inn in Hill City, they had some maps on the check -in counter. I would think that all the hotels would have some simple maps for you to use.

Thanks, I will check it out...

Hill City and Keystone are both good places to stay if you want to be in the middle of everything. If you're camping, Custer State Park has some great places, just check the website.

Iron Mountain Road is 16A as you ride south out of Keystone. It goes through Custer State Park, and is a great ride. Watch out for wildlife in the late afternoon. I believe you have to go North to see Rushmore through the tunnel. Great ride either way.

When in the Rushmore area dont pass the Cosmos mystery area. That is one twisted place.
