Torx inserts on windshield loose, HELP!

Torx inserts on windshield loose, HELP!
I have a 2005 Electraglide standard, I bought it used. I took the fairing off to put a chopped windshield on and one of the inserts that the torx screws into is loose. The guy that had it before me must have over torqed it. Anyone have a good fix for this??? I thought about pulling the insert and filling it with some type of liquid metal than tapping it out,any thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I just tap min e back in with a hammer lightly but i also have bought some new screw in inserts $1.79 ea....i used plastic welding epoxy the first time one came out...stayed in good for a year... i change my shiel very oftennn so the screw in option i s good i think...

The stock inserts are pressed in and will pull out when over tighten. Go visit your local HD part guy and ask for the self threading inserts part number 16585-96. You'll never have the problem again with these.
