Electrical issue, bike won't start, help please!
 

Long story short did a handlebar and braided cable swap now the bike won't run...

I took the throttle side controls back out of the handle bar to make sure they werent grounding out and was going through the wires. By chance the black/white wire from the start and run/off switch and the red/yellow wire from the brake switch touched (controls are off the handlebar so the switch is not depressed).

As long as those two wires are touching the bike will start although it bypasses the run/off switch. If those wires are not touching or the brake switch is pressed, the bike cuts off.

Any ideas?

Sounds like you have a sort in the switch piece some place.........also you might look on th e other end and chase those back also to make sure they are good.......
