no sound from speakers
 

I have a 06 ultra and now I have no sound from speakers.
Everything seems to work but no sound from all 4 speakers.

I get a diagnostic code b2017 fl speaker open
besides taking to the dealer any ideas?
I would like to keep weather radio and cb so what options do I have?

You might try pulling the radio fuse for a minute, see if it resets.

had the exact same problem went to a stereo installation store and they put a 9 volt battery on the speaker tab where the wire clips on and made contact with the tabs and the speaker cones moved. it turned out the radio had no out put warranty covered it and i got a new radio hope this helps. also make sure your accesory switch is off on the panel below your dash. good luck

well it looks like ironcross audio is my best bet.
250 flat fee they will do all the updates and make it like new again.
Semms like the 06's do not have a vibration mod the new ones do.
The guy's that run this shop used to work for harmon kardon.
sso I guess I will pull the stereo out my self and send it to them,2 day turn around and back in .

So any one with an 06 model look out you could be next!

This may sound dumb but did you check the speaker switch on the dash. Maybe you moved it to the forward position while cleaning. Sometimes the obvious is the hardest to see.

Same thing happened to my '08 radio. I was lucky it was covered under warrenty.

My 99 RG has the new HK unit and speakers. The problem I am having is it seems to fade in and out,volume will be loud then seems to go down without touching and buttons.
I am thinking loose ground???

07 street glide with the volume going off turn it back on volume is there happens often any fix
