there's a guy named firecap who is in the oklahoma city area who is a real audio wizard. there are others too, like pez from hogtunes. those are two guys who would be able to get you anything you could want with audio for your bike. there are others as well, but those are two who come to mind.

I have the FireCap amp and the 6.5 speakers. All I can say is at 70 mph with a Street Glide shield I can hear the music. The sound does get better with a larger shield. I'm very happy and installation was very easy.

You're going to get 15 opinions for every 10 members on this board. The fact of the matter is that what matters most in motorcycle audio is how loud (cleanly) it can get so that you can hear it while you're tooling down the freeway. Audiophile level sound quality just isn't possible in the motorcycle environment. That is unless you park your hog on stage in a concert hall...

That being said, most 6.5" mids that are rated to handle the power your amp is putting out should do nicely. To clean things up further, consider a component set where the tweeter is mounted separately, rather than a coaxial setup. The crossovers on a component set will also each speaker to play in it's intended range, and will cut out freqs that would otherwise cause distortion.

Obviously moisture is a concern so look for products that won't disintegrate when the first drop of water hits them...

I love CDT audio products, but I think they'd be overkill (or a poor appropriation of funds, at least) for installing on my SG...
