Default need sirius antenna with a short wire for ultra..

bought sirius starmate satelite radio for "Lucille"...only problem is the antennae is 20' and i don't need 20' feet of wire for the bike.

Any suggestions where i can get an antennae with a MUCH shorter cord?

thanks

How short ya want? I have a shorty that came with my mount kit that I'm not going to use. I'll measure it and sell it to ya for half what those are if you're interested. I'm not ever going to use it.

Why not just coil it up and zip tie up. That's what I did, and I've had no problems in over 4 years.

yeah that's what I did with the one that came with the radio. I didn't want to use the little mount on the handlebars and the antenna inside the fairing is working just fine.

cool link, wonder if that MC antenna is worth the $$$ ?http://www.myradiostore.com/sirius/s...e-antenna.html the car antennas are best used on at least 1 sq. foot of metal, even a 3" x 3" piece of sheet metal under them helps quite a bit.
