07 Ultra Classic w/ 26k miles. Had the inner primary bearing replaced today and...... WOW, what a difference. The whirrrrrrring noise is gone! The tech showed me the bearing. The race was chewed up pretty good and a number of the rollers were worn and extremely loose.

I haven't been this happy in............... hell, let's just say it's been awhile!

 

Had the same thing happen on mine at 24k. Big difference!! I also installed the SE compensator. Big thumbs up. Just finished cruising 1200 miles up and down the Oregon Coast. Glad all's well with yours!! Happy Trails!
