ORIGINAL: udnudn At Sams Club today and stumbled accross packages of Micro Fiber towels. 25 pack (16x16) for $11.24. Those are the ONLY thing that I use to clean/wax my bike with. I have tried other soft cloth items, and they only tend to leave scratches. The Micro-Fiber towels ROCK!!! Bob |
RE: Micro Fiber @ SAMS
I bought two bags and use them everytime I wash the bike.
When they get dirty, I throw them in the washing machine. If they wear out, I have a ton more waiting. Good deal and great post. |
RE: Micro Fiber @ SAMS
Sam's micro fiber towels are the best. I've been using them for some time now.
Great price. |
RE: Micro Fiber @ SAMS
Costco carries 'em too.

I agree, smoking deal. I buy the same ones at WalMart, but the pack is smaller and price higher. Will have to hit sams.
Speaking of scratching paint..the paint and clearcoat on my SG is terrible! Scratches SO easy. I've got scratches that won't wax out, gonna try a little compound..from an AUX in wire sitting on my tank when riding..not even on the highway. |
RE: Micro Fiber @ SAMS
good tip man. my favorite cleaning tool, always got em at autozone. but i know where im going now. thanks

RE: Micro Fiber @ SAMS
They are great.
Another tip - if you wash them after you use them, make sure you don't use a fabric softener or dryer sheet (you or your ol' lady). They will leave a film on the bike from the residue. |
RE: Micro Fiber @ SAMS
I take one of these on the road along with a cheap fake chamois. The microfiber towel when dipped in hot water removes the bugs and delitrius and the old chamois does the drying trick. Both dry quickly overnight.
That's a super price on them........thanks for the note! |
