Default Ultra Handlebars Inquiry

2008 Ultra Classic: Has anyone in the 6' height range installed Wild One 10" or 12" Bagger Apes to achieve "pull-back" for using a back-rest and also eliminate the "between shoulders burn"? In the limited photos I've seen, it appears that everyone that installed these did so to achieve height and looks rather than pull back. I also do not like the look or position of Bagger Bars, which provide the "pull-back" but do not get your grip higher and wider. Primarily concerned with long distance comfort.

I put 12" yaffe monkey bars on my street glide this year and love them. I'm 5 10. you can have all the pull back you need. They are wider than stock and the grips are definitely higher.he grips are slightly higher than the fairing. Mine are very comfortable for me.

I run Khromewerks sweepers on my 08 for that very reason. I run the +2's, others run 2+2. The +2's are about $80 and only require a 38649-08A clutch cable for about another $50. Fairly inexpensive proposition with good results for reducing fatigue. Easy swap, hardest part is messing with the stock exhaust crossover to change the clutch cable on those that still have the stock setup, but that can be achieved by loosening and not complete removal. I've put on several of these bars for friends and they are all very happy with them.

I love my kromewerks sweepers and have them rolled down more for pull back.

I have 12.5 Wild One's on my 2010 Ultra. Part of my reason for choosing them was because of the pullback. I am 5'7 and they have been great.
