Russell Day Long Seat arrived today *pics*
Hey everyone,
Well today my Russell Day Long seat arrived. I have been waiting on it for about three weeks now. I had the heavy suspension put in, the front/rear reworked, heated seats front/rear, full leather cover installed. Initial impressions are that it is a first class seat. Feels like I am sitting in it and not on it. I have wanted one of these seats for my bikes for probably 15 years and I finally decided to go on ahead and spring for it. The only thing I don't care for initially is it raises me up a little so I am on my tip toes touching the ground but I have been told that the foam will settle/ride in some and then hopefully I'll get back to where I was. My previous saddles I've tried is the OEM Ultra seat, Mustang regal touring, Sundowner. Up until now the Sundowner has been adequate but I am hoping the Russell will allow me to spend all day in the saddle without any discomfort.
Here is the switch for one of the heaters.
Switch on the other side for the other heater element.

I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And more imprtantly, the more comfortable rider. Looks good to me.

Sundowner lowered me. Mustang raised a little but pushed me towards the tank, and the russell has probably raised me 1" or so.

While I have never had a Lepera I have had several others and am really hoping it will fit the bill.
