Hey Confused...I am less confused than ever after your easy to digest thread..thanks and that looks like a decent dyno for a stock 96 w/ Stage 1 and a cam. I think that's the way I am going to go this winter with mine...

Not giving you crap but I don't believe in factory Harley technology and I have never felt that Harley was looking out for our best interests with there aftermarket parts.
I know...they won't listen....it's like one of those dreams where you try to talk to somebody, but you can't make any sound....

Yes, I'm happy now, but I know down the road I may contact you on how to make me REALLY happy!!
I'm on the road, & can't really see the sheet on my phone.

I'll have a look when I can access a workstation somewhere.

The "numbers" sound like they are in the ballpark & with variations from dyno to dyno, day to day, etc.. it's probably A-ok.

Done right, "tuned is tuned".

Curve looks good. Bike should feel a little peppier. Should run cooler as well. I see a 107" in your future, you got the bug now )

Going back to the dealer tomorrow to replace a bad compensator (sp). It was misbehaving before all this work was done so it has NOTHING to do with the CAMS. He is putting on the SE one and I only have to pay the difference, $100. Also he is going to try and get the decel pop out. Other than that rode all around central FLA today, daytona bike week activities, couple of other dealers, picked up a HD leather jacket 25% off and used my $100 gift card I had to make a $450 jacket come out to $235 before tax. One of those 3-1 kind. I'm shut off for now.

I also put SE 255s in just last July. I'm real happy with the result. More torque and what I perceive as the bike having better manners in both first and sixth gear. I bought the cam on e-Bay for just over $100 and did the install myself (with much online support from Iclick). The only small down side, and I do mean very small, is I noticed more valve train noise with the SE 255s. Not when it's idling, but under steady load in a mid gear at 30 - 40 MPH. For the money, and knowing what I know now, I would gladly swap out the stock cam with the SE 255 again.

I just dug out my dyno sheet and the numbers are almost exactly the same as yours.

Max Power = 76.39
Max Torque = 90.16

My scoot is a 2007 FLHT with SE Air Cleaner with K&N filter, SE slip on mufflers, Harley 2009 "2 into 1 into 2" head pipe, and SE Race Tuner, and now with SE 255 cams.
