How to use single cylinder mode?
Friends:
My Bike is a 2006 FLHTPI I think it's a Police Special.
I just got my bike and would be grateful if someone could tell me a couple things:
1. How do I activate/deactivate the single cylinder "Parade" mode?
2. What does the red "P" on the dash indicate?
Thanks in advance amigos!

On my 09 RK, the parade mode kicks in automatically once the engine temps hit a certain point. It only kicks in if stopped and in neutral or in gear with the clutch in. You can enable/disable it by turning the ignition switch on and the run switch, then roll the throttle forward and hold it for a few seconds. The cruise light will flash green if its on, and red if its off. As for the red P, I am unsure, I am not sure I have a red P on my lights

What model and what year, they are different. The '09 touring bikes you enable and disable the single cylinder mode by twisting the throttle past idle for a few seconds, then the cruise control light will either flash green or amber depending on if it is enabled or disabled. The "p" is for poser

You need to post the year and model of your bike. On 08's and up you can turn the rear cylinder cut off on and off yourself on the 07's it's a software switch activated at t he dealer. If you have a police model bike FLHTP, or FLHP the "P" on the dash is for the pursuit lamp,(red switch on the right controls.)

Can you elaborate on the Pursuit position and how to enable disable it? What is it for and what should it be on normally?
Thanks in advance,
