Default What does “slammed suspension” mean?

There is a Street Glide review on the opening page that begins, “The 2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide includes a slammed suspension,” Can someone explain what this is about or is it just another useless marketing phrase.

Most of the time that means it has been lowered.

...ya..what the others said..usually when I see someone who has lowered the suspension maybe an inch or inch and a half, they'll just say it's "lowered"..when someone says it's "slammed"..to me it means it's as low as it can go..2 inches or more....but I'm sure some say "slammed" when it's only mildly lowered...

it means when you try to corner you will scrape much earlier than a king or a EG.

Older SG's came with a lower shock than the rest of the touring bikes. I'm guessing they're just changing up the wording for the same set-up in their advertising.
