Default That would've left a mark!

The wife and I went for a ride today. I am thinking if that big splat would have hit my forehead instead of the fairing it would have knocked me off the bike or at least have left a mark! You can see the yellow splat on the upper left part of the fairing of which it sprayed up onto the windshield as well. Maybe it was a small bird? I know, it desperately needs a bath!

I had that happen to me but it hit me in the glasses on the right side. Had yellow guts allover my glasses and the right side of my head. Had to pull to the side of the road to clean my face and glasses.

Yeah I had that happen once too. My lens was completely covered and it went around the side of my head as well. I don't even want to know what it was.

Its bugs that leave huge splats like that which make my windshield and fairing every bit worth it.

Right lens splat, big, dark and maybe has fuzzy hair covered body before it hit. It left yellow goo all over me,, I stoped and cleaned my glasses and bragged to the guys about how well my new fangled glass cleaner worked,, we took off only to ride about two miles and then splat again in the left lens while traveling 80mph in a left hand curve, I lost my depth perception because I could only see out of one eye,,(what a rush)

I've had splats that big hit my face. It hurts. It hurts REALLY bad. I had a welt and the yellow guts all over.

However, the bug had it worse.
