Boot's melted on pipes

I cleaned it up real good today (rained all day) and noticed that the wife had left some of her boots on my Reinhardt's.

I tried a few things I had in the shop, chrome polish, mothers, and a few others and it still there.

I have heard of using E-Z off oven cleaner, but I haven't tried it yet!
What do y'all do?

Pipes

Try scrapping a penny on the mark. Worked great on my pipes

+1. I polished out boot melt just this past weekend with this method.

+1 on EZ Off Oven Cleaner. Works like a charm and you won't scratch your pipes.

I've used the steel wool with great success. But the easy off sounds like a good idea too.

Actually I've used Brillo-pad (wet) very lightly.....came right off and did not scratch at all......
