Default 2006 Ultra Classic TourPak quick change?

Has anyone ever converted an 2006 Ultra Classic with a tourPak quick release system ? There are times when I'd like to ride without it. What's it take to handle the wiring etc? Thanks in advance.

It depends on what you want to do with the antennas on the back. I never use my CB, so I disconnected it and stuffed the cable infront of the battery. I installed a amplified antenna inside the fairing for the AM/FM.......so I removed that wire also and stuffed that infront of the battery also.

The intercom cable is another thing that depends on how much or if you use it. I don't use it, so I removed that and stuffed that next to the battery.

Now all I have going to the tourpak is the right speaker wire, left speaker wire, and the lights wire. All 3 of those have factory quick plugs on them.........so you don't need to do anything.

Go to your local HD dealer, and pick up part numbers -

53276-04 - $149.95
53804-06 - $54.95

Installation is quick and easy and you should be done in about 1 hour.

My '03 Ultra Classic had one on it when I bought it. It was originally set up to move the Tour Pack forward with a one-up seat on it.

All of that has been remove now and is back to the stock setup.

I have those 2 parts for sale..............I couldn't take not having my tourpak on the bike. I remounted the tourpak with the permanent mounts, and I know have those 2 parts for sale.
