Default Sta-Bil Ethanol Treatment

Is anyone using this product?

They make a different product for you winter guys that have to store your bike, but this is for tank to tank treatment of ethanol.
I was talking to my boss who is a boater and he swears by it;
He says that ethanol is ruining the boaters' boats

* America's #1 Selling Marine Fuel Additive Brand!
* BEST Ethanol Problem Fighter
* More than FOUR TIMES the Fuel System Cleaner than in Regular STA-BIL
* DOUBLE the corrosion preventer than in Regular STA-BIL
* Prevents corrosion from moisture & ethanol-induced water attraction
* Improves marine engine performance YEAR-ROUND, not just for seasonal storage

Haven't seen it around. The old Sta-Bil has been working great for me.

I use the stuff in my bass boat. Every tank. Never had a problem. Didn't think about using it in my bike. Maybe I will start.

I was in a Indy's shop the other day. He had that type of stabilizer
on the shelf ,never thought to ask about it. I know he doesn't work on boats!

Carry a bottle in my bag all the time. Each fill up I add it. Don't know if it makes any difference but no reason to find out.

With the quick breakdown of ethanol gas mix, use the good stuff for your last tanks. In Wisconsin, most gas is a blend, except the higher octane stuff. I have been using sta-bil before winter storage for years. Never a problem. Used to fog 2 cycles before winter too, don't know if anyone does that with 4 strokes.

Looking forward to a nice last day of riding this weekend 60+ Sat and Sun.

I switched from Sta-Bil to a product called Sea-Foam, with better results.

I had carb issues with the jap bike even using stabil that went away when I used sea foam.

In an injected bike you are not going to have many if any issues with gas turning from sitting for a few months... Carbs... my Kawi can have problems if it sits for 3 weeks the pilot jets are that small!

I use Sea Foam also, again because I had a Yamaha with carbs that got very unhappy if the gas sat for any time. I now use it in everything over the winter and during the rest of the year if it is going to sit for any time.
