i think they r called driving lamps the 2 under the headlight on a roadking.does anyone have the yellow light instead of the white and if so how do u like them.

I have yellow (amber) lights on mine.
I switched them to Wagner 4415A sealed beams last year.
The Wagner beams are a screw terminal as opposed to the plug in style , but it's pretty easy to change.
They're available at most better auto parts stores and are for trucks as a fog beam.
The 4415 and A series have about a 40 degree beam spread as opposed to the stock 8 degree spread.
They are 35 watt , unlike the stock 27 watt bulbs , so the wiring is OK afterwards.
Maybe it's me , but "less" people seem to cross in front of me since the change to amber.
Take care to aim them carefully if you install as the beam changes position significantly when chaging from spot to flood style lights.
And yes , they are really a pain to aim properly.
I feel like this mod was a good value , and I feel safer with them , than the stock bulbs.

Buddy of mine has yellow on his Road King. Not my prefference but he didn't buy them form me. They look great I just prefer the smoked lens covers.

I have a pair of 55-watt amber/yellow bulbs in my passing lamps and I love them. They don't give up much light at night on back roads but they are more noticeable (at least I think so) as they stand out against the white headlamp.

I took the halogen bulb HD passing lamps, removed the stock replaceable bulbs and installed the yellow Luminics bulbs. The bulbs were about $25.00 for the pair.

I have the amber spot lights in my RK and love them. They make your bike easier to see day or night, add alot of safety. I also feel that they add a good amount of light for driving at night.

i also notice tonight that my headlight glass seems to be like foggy or dirty is there a way to clean it and what would u guys put in as a brighter headlight.also the passing lamps are they bulbs or is it a whole lamp to change them into yellow passing light.if you have any pics it would be great

I have replaced the stock headlamp assembly with a Cibie E Code unit with a replaceable H4 bulb.

This was the combo he suggested for my bike.
Cibie E code 7" headlight with Osram 70/65 H4 bulb.
You can see the wagner 4415A passing beams on either side , which he recommended also.
The Cibie setup was about $75.00 and $22.00 for the bulb plus shipping.
The Cibie is a lense optic rather than a reflector optic setup , which makes for a more accurate beam spread and focus.
The Osram bulb is Very bright (white) and safe for the stock wiring.
An impressive upgrade for about a hundred bucks for sure...

I was first introduced to Daniel Stern a while back over on the Rennlist Forums for Porsche owners. An excellent source for equipment and information.

Time to upgrade the bike front lights to equal the upgrade I did on the car years ago. The European rig (most of us did major upgrading of the wiring harnesses (wire size and routing), regulator, and relay (power delivery) on the existing (these were 944/968/951 series cars and consequently were between 27 and 15 years old) original technology.

The original '01 Harley lighting leaves much to be desired, also!
