Hey everyone,

I got an email from Vivid Dragon last night saying that the base coat was down and they were going to shoot my ghost flames on Friday. Said my set will likely ship out by the end of next week. They are doing a metallic yellow with ghost flames. He is painting everything including the inner fairing. I can't wait to see it on the bike.

Here is a sample that he sent me. I was debating on pinstriping or flames but this is what it should look like when done. I'm dying to see the finished product installed on the bike.

Was Shadd running any sort of sale when you contracted this job. I got in on the 40% off deal he was running. It really worked out good for me. Can't wait to see it when it's done.

 

He did my dyna this summer and his wait time was longer than what he promised using new tins. I gave a deposit about 3 months ago for my ultra and said I didn't want it to ship until Dec. 1st. He couldn't locate a tourpack or lowers so I sent him mine and he used all new stuff other than that and issued me a credit. I'm hoping it'll ship the end of next week as promised so I can have it by mid-december.

 

btw did you put your own tins on or have someone do it? I haven't looked yet to see how bad the back fender will be to install. On my dyna it was a piece of cake. I'm hoping to have it all installed before the first of the year. It'll likely take me several nights to do it. I'm a little worried how bad the inner fairing will be to do as well.

 

Man bet you are having trouble just setting still. Post a pic when you get them back, before you put-em-on.
