Need PN for a 2001 FLHT ign. switch so I can try to order online. I know, I know, need to buy a parts manual for my beast. I'm on it.....but in meantime would like to get an order in ASAP.

Bike runs for a short time and then everything shuts down..ignition and lights as if I turned bike off. Bike then starts up and I can go another mile (maybe) and same thing happens. Nursed it home last night and checked battery connections, ground connection coming off battery to back of primary, ground on right side of steering head. Turning kill switch off doesn't shut off lights so I'm down to replacing the ignition switch. With help of my svc. manual and a great thread on this site I removed the switch, removed the 4 small phillips machine screws holding a plate, and am looking at copper/brass plate with 2 small springs. Concluded I just better replace the whole enchilada...unless someone has been thru this and has other suggestion. New switch is about a hundred bux...Thanks

 

I see you got the 71526-93B from bladerunner on the other board. That is the correct pn# and retails for $107 but you could get it at a 20% dealer on line cheaper.
