Sorry for bringing up this topic again, but I wasn't able to locate anything using search.

Does the delayed starting, using PCIII, occur with all '06 baggers ?

I am having a hard time deciding which fuel controller to purchase, and I was set on the PCIII until I read about the starting "problems". It would annoy me to no end if my brand new scooter had to crank over 5 times before it started.

knock on wood, I've had my Street Glide and PCIII for 11-1/2 months now with no problems.

No starting delay here, 8 degree injectors, custom dyno tune.

Mine takes a few turns to fire with the PCIII. The way I look at it.....it gets some oil pressure in the engine before it is running. I don't mind it at all....
